Simi YMCA Spring Swim Lessons Begin Feb. 24, Registration Opens Feb. 13 - News

PRLog (News release) Jan. 20, 2014SIMI VALLEY, Calif.– Simi Valley, Calif.– The Simi Valley Family YMCA will certainly hold Spring season I and Springtime II swim trainings from February 24 via June 7. Signups start February 10 for Springtime I. Courses take place at the Simi Y’s heated indoor swimming pool (3200 Cochran St., Simi Valley).


Parents which are not sure of their youngster’s swim degree could bring their kid to the YMCA on Thursday, February 13 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. for an evaluation by the YMCA aquatics director and swim teachers.


Classes are offered in two, seven-week sessions: February 24 to April 19 and April 21 to June 7. Team, private and special necessities lessons are available.


“Our swim instructors educate children how you can be great swimmers and extraordinary teammates,” says Andrea Isbell, Simi Y’s aquatics supervisor. “We instruct worths, strokes, safety and gamesmanship.”


Lessons are held once weekly on Mondays through Thursdays and on Saturdays.
